About Dan Goldstein

About Dan Goldstein - Composer and Site Administrator - Music For Art

Dan Goldstein began his creative journey as a classical oboist. He eventually received undergraduate and graduate degrees in musical performance, and freelanced for a period of time in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Later Goldstein began exploring the electronic wind instrument (EWI), and around the same time started his work in electronic composition. Dan actively manages the Midisparks website and shop from his home in Harrisburg, PA.

Here is how Dan describes the philosophy behind the website:

People who love art are always looking for ways to appreciate it at a deeper level. We seek the spark that can illuminate our experience of creativity. Music is one such spark. It can enhance the emotional, thematic, and dramatic aspects of art in many mediums. This site is devoted to presenting unique couplings of audio and visual art. Through these couplings, we hope to enrich the experience of the visual works and encourage further art exploration and sales.

Our website is not primarily about Dan Goldstein. It is about the composers, artists, bloggers and fans who comprise the Midisparks Creative Community.

Dan can be reached through the website: support@midisparksartsales.com
